2009 National Results

Aug 5th-7th 2009 Canadian Junior Championships held at Nutana Lawn Bowling Club

Ontario's Kory Oltof won the Gold medal while Nova Scotia's Cameron Lefresne took the Silver medal. Dylan Jacob, also from Ontario, edged out Saskatchewan's Grant Wilkie for the Bronze.

The under 25 Canadian World Junior Cup Selection was also held at Nutana from August 7th-10th.

Ontario's Kelly McKerihen won the Women's Gold medal. The Silver medal went to Saskatchewan's Fran Scott while Ontario's Stephanie Miller took the Bronze. Ontario's Dylan Jacobs won the Men's Gold medal. The Silver medal went to Saskatchewan's Alex Scott while Ontario's Trevor Whyte took the Bronze.

Kelly McKerihen and Dylan Jacobs will represent Canada in Warilla, Australia in April 2010.

Great job by all Junior Bowlers and good luck to Kelly and Dylan!!!

Aug 16th-22nd 2009 Canadian Championships in Victoria, BC

Saskatchewan bowlers had another strong showing in 2009:

Harriette Pituley and Rachel Larson won the Silver medals in the Women's Pairs.

Keith Roney, Doug Propp, David Calam and Ernie Meid won the Silver medals in Men's Fours.

Jean Roney won the Bronze medal in the Women's Singles.

Aug 28th-Sept 2nd 2009 Canadian Senior Triples Championships in Kitchener, Ontario

The trio of David Calam, Keith Roney and Ralph Van Iderstine brought the Bronze medals home by defeating Ontario B 17-7.

Sept 13th-19th 2009 Canadian MIxed Pairs Championships in Midland, Ontario

Harriette and Jon Pituley captured the Bronze medals over the weekend. The mother and son team continued their success in Canadian Mixed Pairs by defeating New Brunswick 18-11 in the Bronze game.
