Aug 6th-10th 2010 2010 World Junior Selector held in London, Ontario
Nutana's Grant Wilkie won the Men's silver medal over the weekend. Ontario's Jacob Schuknecht claimed the gold medal while Ontario's Dylan Jacobs took home the bronze.
Ontario's Stephanie Miller won the Women's gold medal over the weekend. Nova Scotia's Lindsay Lefresne won the silver while Ontario's Kaitlyn Ryan took home the bronze.

Fran Scott took the silver medal while Kelly McKerihen of Ontario won the gold medal at this year's 2010 World Junior Cup Selection. In the bronze medal match Nova Scotia's Lindsay Lefresne beat Ontario's Stephanie Miller 2 - 1 to claim the bronze medal.
Fran and Ontario's Dylan Jacobs have accepted the invitation to compete in the World Indoor Bowls Councils (WIBC) Junior Gents and Ladies Singles Championships, and Mixed Championships. The event will take place between Tuesday October 26th- 29th, 2010 at the Gedling and District IBC, Nottingham, England.
Jonathan Pituley from the Regina LBC in Saskatchewan beat returning champion Dylan Jacobs of Ontario 2 - 1 to win the 2010 World Junior Cup Selection. Pituley got the best of Jacobs in this year's tournament beating him both in the round robin and in the gold medal match. In the bronze medal match Ontario's Trevor Whyte beat fellow Ontario native Kody Olthof 2 - 1 to claim the bronze medal.
Jonathan will represent Canada in the World Junior Cup in Warilla, Australia this coming April.

Aug 14th-22nd 2010 Canadian Championships in Edmonton, Alberta
Alex Scott won the bronze medal in Men's singles after defeating Alberta's George Shilabeer over the weekend. Michel Larue (QC) beat BC's Chris Grahame to win the national championship and be Canada's representative to World Bowls' Champion of Champions competition in Hong Kong, China (dates to be determined by World Bowls).

Aug 26th-Sept 1st 2010 Canadian Senior Triples Championships in Halifax, Nova Scotia
Jean Roney, Irma Bricker, and Clem Grant cruised through the robin robin with an 8-1 record and brought home the gold medals after defeating Nova Scotia B in the final.

Sept 7th-13th 2010 Canadian MIxed Pairs Championships in Whiterock, BC
The Gold Medal match between QC and ON ‘A’ kicked off with Quebec's Irene Menear and Richard Menear taking the gold medal over ON 'A's Ron Geniole and Elaine Stevenson with a score of 17-14.
The Bronze medals match for the Mixed Pairs was between BC ‘B’ and NS with British Columbia's Alf Pang and Mary Wright cruising to third place over Nova Scotia's Calvin Bechard nad Valerie Bechard by a score of 21-9.
